About Us

… Creators of live and digital stories

Award winning Rolemop Arts started life in sunny (well sometimes!) Brighton. Creatives Kerri McLean and Alex Buckley came up with the collectives' ethos… to explore imaginative new ways to tell stories. Since then we've toured, surprised, enlightened and captured the imagination through our collaborations. For each of our unique projects we always seek out the best talent and most creative minds to collaborate with to ensure each production has that wow factor and special Rolemop touch.

Kerri is an award winning director, performer, writer and producer from the UK.  Her work covers a vast range of productions including acting within BBC productions (incl. Small Island, Cherished, Casualty, Holby City, and Radio 4 Drama), ITV (Unforgotten, Identity), Channel 4 (Comedy Roasts) and a range of independents including Ruby Films and The Imaginarium. She works within a broad range of theatres, and was winner of the 'Overall Excellence Award' at The New York Fringe International Festival 2013 for 'Kemble's Riot' which she directed and produced, more recently she won two Faith Drama Writer-Director Awards' in 2016. Kerri has directed several productions including the 'Snakes and Ladders 2014 tour' (incl.
