broken loops community project

Rolemop is keen to develop community and educational projects that run alongside our productions, and we have several concept ideas for community projects, and we are keen to develop these with venues and institutions.

Broken Loops in the Community was a community led project that ran from February – May 2009, incorporating the gridio technology within workshops that were targeted at long-term unemployed individuals. Supported by Awards for All, Rolemop researched, developed, and delivered a pilot scheme of interactive workshops with long term unemployed young people at Careers Development Group [CDG]. The training program empowered long-term unemployed people to gain life skills, transferable in gaining future employment. Furthermore the Community project is informing and feeding back into Broken Loops, one of our up and coming performances pieces for 2009/10.
